Philip Pio, Sr. started Philip Pio Construction, Inc. in 1965. His work initially consisted of installing water and sewer pipe in the streets of Philadelphia for the Philadelphia Water Department. The work that Pio Construction performed was a great source of pride for the family. In 1970, Philip Pio, Jr. joined his father, working side by side for many years. Over time, Pio Construction’s scope of services has expanded into site management, excavating, and shoring. Quality work and customer satisfaction are always first and foremost, regardless of the size of the project.

The family legacy continued when Philip Pio, III became a part of the family owned and operated business. He was taught the company’s core values of providing high quality and always exceeding the customer’s expectations. The Pio family tradition of hard work has helped the company grow into the successful operation that it is today.
